It’s fresh, it’s flattering, and it’s…not pink! This season, ultrapretty orange tones, from soft peaches to bold apricots, are popping up on lips and cheeks everywhere. “They’re great for brides because they give a healthy glow and translate well in different types of lighting,” says celeb makeup artist Andrew Sotomayor. “They look natural but better.” Find out which beauty buys work best with your skin tone.

If you have fair skin: Try sheer pale-peach lip colors, which will look understated and elegant on you, Sotomayor says. We like L’Oréal Paris Infallible Le Rouge Lipstick in Perpetual Peach ($9.99, available at Ulta). Then dial up the color ever so slightly on your cheeks for a radiant peaches-and-cream combination. Try Dior Diorblush in Cocktail Peach ($43, available at Sephora).

If you have medium skin: Experiment with coral! The bold tone can overwhelm some complexions, but it works gorgeously on yours. We like Sonia Kashuk Sahara Sunset Shine Luxe Sheer Lip Colour in Eden ($11.99, available at Target). It makes the perfect statement shade. Pair it with a matching punchy blush like Clinique Cheek Pop in Peach Pop ($21, available at Sephora)

If you have dark skin: Don’t be afraid to rock true orange on lips and cheeks; it will illuminate your skin beautifully. If you’re shy about wearing brights, pat the color on lightly with your finger so it’s sheer. Feeling daring? Layer it on for a more vibrant flash. We like Chanel Rouge Allure Lip Colour in Insaisissable ($36, available at Nordstrom), and Lancôme Blush Subtil in Shimmer Rouge in Love ($31, available at Bloomingdales).

Not sure what to pair with your bright lips and cheeks? A warm smoky eye in brown, bronze, copper, or gold is soft and pretty with this look. Then, find your favorite hairstyle to match your new bold look.
