WATCH: Behind-the-Scenes at Truly Zac Posen’s Spring 2016 Bridal Presentation

It’s pretty obvious from looking at his gowns that Zac Posen loves to design for women. Truly Zac Posen, the famed fashion personality’s bridal line for David’s Bridal, is no exception. For his Spring 2016 collection, Posen played with his form-fitting silhouettes to add fun details like shirred laces and crystal-dotted feathers. During the presentation for his latest iteration of gorgeous bridal gowns, we stole Zac for a minute to learn more about his collection and his love for designing.

“I love designing bridal because it gives every woman the opportunity to have that incredible glamour moment and to express their personality in an elevated way for that one very special day in their life,” he told us in between demonstrating his design and creation process in his brand-new atelier and walking us through the collection. “I wanted to bring fashion fun into the bridal world with the line Truly Zac Posen,” he added.

Fun he definitely brought with a tuft of feathers, a floral-printed black gown, and some seriously curve-hugging laces with a plunging open back.

“I think what links the Zac Posen woman is a sense of confidence, a sense of inner glamour, and a creative spark,” he continued about the Zac Posen bride.
