Get Details on Jason Aldean and Brittany Kerr’s Wedding — and See a Photo of Her Wedding Dress!

Four days after Jason Aldean and Brittany Kerr got married, we’re finally getting details on their romantic destination wedding in Mexico. Us Weekly got the scoop on their evening nuptials in its latest issue, and it sounds amazing.

According to Us, the couple of two years tied the knot in a seaside ceremony at the Mahekal Beach Resort in Playa del Carmen that spared no detail. American Idol contestant Kerr donned a long-sleeved lace Pnina Tornai wedding dress as she walked barefoot down the aisle to the tune of John Legend‘s “All of Me.” “She looked beautiful,” Aldean said of his first glimpse of his new bride. “I was so excited to see her.”

Duck Dynasty star Willie Robertson performed the 25-minute ceremony in front of 40 guests, which included Aldean’s two daughters, who served as junior bridesmaid and flower girl. Aldean and Kerr, who got engaged at the San Diego Zoo in September, exchanged traditional vows because Kerr “knew I was going to be a crying mess,” leading her and her husband to decide to “just repeat what somebody else has said.”

The couple did, however, buck tradition for another part of their nuptials — they slept in the same bed the night before the wedding. “I wanted to build anticipation for the walk down the aisle,” Kerr said, but they couldn’t bear the distance. “We don’t like being apart. We get separation anxiety.”

Now that the wedding is over, they’re very much looking to the future. “We definitely want kids — we’re crossing our fingers for a boy,” Kerr said. “But we’ll probably start in a couple of years. I want to enjoy being married to him and experiencing the ride.
