Exclusive: Khloé Kardashian Shares Her Best Big-Day Hair Tip (Plus Kim Dishes on Her Own Bridal Hairstyle!)

Kardashian Beauty, a new haircare line from the infamous, reality-TV sisters, officially launched yesterday at a press event in New York City. Brides was there, and we got to try out some of the new products and tools! Our favorites: Pure Glitz Hair Spray, $14.99 — it kept our Kardashian-esque waves intact for hours — and the 3-in-1 Ceramic Hairstyling Iron, $89.99, which allows you to straighten hair or add waves or curls. (Both of the products are available exclusively at Ulta.) But even better? We also got a chance to catch up with Kim and Khloé, themselves. And of course, we chatted them up about wedding hair!

Kim told us that she chose the pretty, flowing style she wore for her wedding to Kanye West very strategically. “It was simple, and I didn’t want anything severe,” she said. “I wanted my look to be about my dress.”

Khloé then stressed the importance of brides being themselves, particularly when it comes to hair. “A lot of brides do something like an updo, when in their normal, everyday life, they wouldn’t wear that. Then a lot of people are like, ‘Oh, I didn’t like my wedding photos,'” she said. “For my wedding, my hair was very true to me — down with a light wave. People wanted my hair up, but I said, ‘No, I never wear my hair up — that’s not me.’ Especially on your wedding: Stay true to you, so that these are timeless photos — not a caricature.”

So, do you agree with Khloé? Should wedding-day hair be a glammed-up version of your everyday look? Or is the big day a chance to try something different? Tweet us your thoughts @BRIDES!
