No matter how much time you spend perfecting your pre-wedding skincare regimen, sometimes blemishes and dark circles prevail. Part of your prep, then, should be to find a trusty concealer to pack in your day-of kit. Here, five editor-tested favorites that will get you through all of your special events — flawlessly.

Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer:
If you’re the low-maintenance type of bride, try this natural-looking, buildable concealer. “I don’t like wearing a lot of makeup, so I usually just stick to foundation,” says our tester. “But this was so lightweight that it only took one coat to hide my blemishes — and made me forget I was wearing it at all.” (It also dries to a matte finish, which is great if you have oily skin.) $28, available at Urban Decay

Koh Gen Do Maifanshi Liquid Treatment Concealer:
This brightening pen stays put, meaning there are no worries of it flaking off halfway through the day. And our dry-skinned tester especially loved it. “It gave me a little glow, covering the blueness under my eyes and broken capillaries around my nose without magnifying them or looking chalky,” she says. “It’s perfect for tired brides!” $48, available at Koh Gen Do

Almay Smart Shade Concealer Makeup:
Infused with a trifecta of calming ingredients — grape seed, ginseng, and ginkgo biloba — this concealer is a godsend for sensitive skin. “It covered dark circles and blended in seamlessly with my bb cream,” raves our tester. “I also noticed my eyes looked less puffy when I got to work.” $7.19, available at drugstore.com

Cover FX Blemish Treatment Concealer:
Before discovering this, our tester hadn’t found a salicylic acid-infused concealer that treated her blemishes and covered them. Well friends, here it is. “It’s heavy, but it blends easily, so a little bit goes a long way to mask redness and blemishes,” she says. And a few added bonuses: It contains bakuchiol to increase cell turnover, bisabolol to decrease inflammation, and dermaxyl and oligopeptide, which help reduce scarring over time. In other words, if you have breakouts, start using this one, like, yesterday. $25, available at Cover FX

Clinique Beyond Perfecting Foundation + Concealer:
If you’re all about multitasking, try this combined foundation and concealer. (You use the side of the brush to apply it as a foundation, and the tip to use it as a concealer.) It also “adapts” to your skin by mattifying oily areas and hydrating dry patches. “I have combination skin, and this kept oil at bay on my T-zone without drying out my cheeks,” says our tester. “It also comes in a big jar, and a little goes a long way, so it’s a great value!” $27, available at Sephora
